Grounded, connected interior design for three generations
The heart of the our design for Link house revolves around connection and functionality. Designed for a three-generation family, the space prioritizes efficient use of area without sacrificing warmth. Earthy tones like wood and beige wash the walls, creating a sense of grounded comfort. This palette is accentuated by a focal disc made of a traditional saree that has been in the family, fostering a connection to the generational values of the family.
Key features
Efficient space utilization- The key to maximizing space lies in multifunctional furniture. Sleek, built-in bookshelves seamlessly blending into the TV console, a study table and dressing unit blending into the bed, kid’s bed with configurable twin bed and double bed layouts are examples of the ideas explored to enhance space usage.
Lighting- Use of multiple layers of lighting to provide the users with opportunities to control light for work, fun and relaxation. Recessed ceiling lights bathe the room in a warm glow, while strategically placed wall lamps cast intimate pools of light. COB lights above the dining table add a touch of elegance, their soft illumination perfect for family meals.
Furniture- the furniture design exudes a timeless quality. Mid-century modern pieces with clean lines and rich wood tones, upholstery in muted colors to complement the earthy tones and functional versatility are key highlights of the furniture design.
The result is a haven that feels both sophisticated and eminently livable, perfectly suited for a family to create lasting memories.
